Wedding Cake

So I was asked by a friend on Monday if I could make a wedding cake by Sat. morning.  I am really scared of wedding cakes  because there is so much pressure.  I mean you go to a wedding or reception and the first thing you look at is the brides dress and the second is the cake.  You cant have an OK wedding cake. Birthdays are easy because they are  fun and you can make them funny.  I was a bit hesitant but the wedding was small (50 people) and the bride was not picky because she was just happy to have a cake with 5 days notice. So I said yes.  I had a knot in my stomach untill it was finished.  I was having to stop and do some breathing tech. just to relax before I put the fondant on.  It was so stressful.   The colors were navy, turquosie and purple (or peacock colors).  This is what I came up with, I was pleasently suprised and I did the best fondant covering I have done yet!
