San Diego day 6

DAY 6: We woke up early and went to Sea World just as it opened.  I was really looking forward to watching all the shows.

Just like at Legoland, we found an amazing playground.  This will definatly be in the plans of the huge playground when I win the lottery :0).  It wasnt till after the boys were done that I realized adults could play on it to, DANG IT I totally missed out.

The first show we saw was the dolphins.  Along with the dolphins they had 2 pilot whales.  The show was cool but very girly.  I mean the music was like from a fairy princess movie and it was about a young girl who swims with the dolphins.  So the boys were not quite as into it as I was.  They had some amazing acrobats that would jump off these trampolines and dive like 20 ft into the water. So the show had parts the boys liked and parts they just looked at me and I could see them saying "when is this going to be over".
The tricks and jumps of these amazing animals were very cool.

We also saw a show with a seal, sea lion and otter which was hilarious.  There was also a circus de soleil type show that was crazy.  Then we worked our way over to the Shamu show. They had 5 Orca's that were in the show and all of them were amazing.

Watching the shows.  O is busy chewing his Tootsie Roll.

They had a sky tower ride that went up 225 feet.  It slowly turned so you could see forever.  It was great and so fun to see everywhere that we had been.

We went to see the Polar Bears and O was just an inch too short to go on a little ride. So he and I took a short cut and passed by this cool helicopter.

Then we spent about 20 min waiting for the boys, watching the Beluga Whales.  I never knew how white they were.  They had a baby one that was almost 2 and he was still grey.  We watched them in the under ground tank.  They would swim in front of the window and make faces.  Totally showing off, they looked like they were having a great time.

After Sea World we decided to go out to Point Loma.  I had heard there was a National Park and a Memorial Park there.  I am always wanting to stop at old cemetaries and look around.  So when I mentioned it to the boys, Em said "why do you like looking at dead people".  I thought it was funny.  Anyway when we drove by the boys couldnt believe it and then realized why I wanted to go see it.  Its pretty amazing, the cemetary is on both sides of the Point so they all look out over the ocean.  I had about 12 great photos but figured that I would just share a couple.  We got to the gate to the National Park and it closed just as we got there.  So we turned around and I walked though just a tiny part of the cemetary .

So with some time before it got dark we drove back into town and decided to go to Target to get a few things. It was a 2 story Target. Now for those of you who live in big cities this is probably nothing new but to us little town folks we were impressed. Then the boys said, how do you get the shopping carts up to the top floor. Well this is how.......
While in CA, one of the places we ate at the most was In and Out.  I love thier burgers, so did O.  We always end up back at the hotel about 7.  They boys would put thier suits on and head straight to the pool.  The entire trip if you asked them what they wanted to do it was "go to the pool".  They would stay till almost 10 every night.
