Those beautiful days I was just talking about..... well today is not one of them. Today was our 1st snow day of the school year and it is in March. Crazy, it is a NM blizzard. Snow with blowing wind (25-40mph gusts). At one point we were looking outside and the snow was falling parallel to the ground. Parts of the yard have dirt areas while others have 2 to 4 inches.
The schools are closed which ment the courts are closed also. So Greg got to drive a "marked" car for the 1st time in a 14month. (He has an unmarked that he drives all the time). He is spending his day between towns doing traffic control. The streets are SOLID ice.
O so wanted to go outside with the big guys, but after 30 min of getting him ready, the 10 min in that nasty wind did him in.
Em and Ay were playing in the snow but Em decided to eat dirt instead. Hahaha, what a goof, they were building a snow fort and he said he ran into the wall. He had dirt stuck in his braces.
Ay decided he wanted to just lay in the snow for his photo.
Crazy winter day in March. I'm telling you the weather gets nuts because soccer season was supposed to start this week. But on the bright side, Monday is supposed to be back up in the 60's. So Im sure the next post will be us in t-shirts longboarding.
4 hours after this post, you would not have known it was a snow day. In town the snow was gone, sun was out, there was blue skies, but the WIND ugh nasty wind.
