HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Can it be true, really? I can not believe that Ay is seven.
Ay woke up this morning to a 102 temp, cough, runny nose, and feeling crumby. Sick on his birthday AGAIN, he was sick last year as well. This is how he spent most of his day. After his second nap he came down thinking he had slept through his birthday. It made me giggle, but he was glad he didn't miss his birthday dinner. On the menu... Hotdogs, chips, pasta salad, veggies and brownies for dessert. Luckily he was feeling pretty good tonight and enjoyed his dinner.

Ay had a birthday party on Sat. it was really fun. He wanted a "CAMO PARTY". So in my cake mind I thought, how the heck am I going to do a CAMO cake. I decided to do camo cupcakes and make them doing an obstacle course. Ay and all his friends wore camo, played Army and danced on stage. It was a beautiful day.
This picture cracked me up. I told them to stand by the cupcakes and the older boys posed, so O followed right along. I love the serious looks on their faces.
Here is a close up of the course. Up the cupcake rope wall, under the table, through the water, over the tires and back to the climbing wall. And then, dont forget the group of cupcakes in formation with the flags. I know I'm a dork, but it is so fun!!!
I even made the cake in Camo colors.

You put so much effort into Ay's party I am put to shame! I swore after I did Riis's party this year I'm buying a b-day package next year where they do all the work! I guess I'll change my mind before then and not be so *lame*.
