Hot Pottin'

We had a great day at the hot pots in Pagosa Springs.  We got up there early, took a picnic lunch, and stayed till the dark clouds rolled in.  I love it up there.

I think this is the big daddy spring.

Me and my boys, ready for a super day, soakin in the hot pots.

Ahhhhhhh

Loved this of Greg and the Tranquility sign behind him.

"hey mom, take a picture of me wee-laxing"

We spent most of our time in the pool.  It was 98 degrees so it was not to hot, not to cold. The boys decided to fall in backwards all at the same time.

This is right before they hit the water.

The Hollyhocks were beautiful and they were all over the place.

Yep, it was a very relaxing day.

But there was time for fun as well,

The boys love cooling off in the river.  The deepest part was to their waist. Ay ended up loosing his croc and Em chased after it.  He yelled to some girls down the river to grab it.  So we did get his shoe back.  But Em will have a few bruises from falling onto the rocks as he tried to hurry down the river. Em almost caught a rainbow trout in the river as well.  It was swimming right where we were playing.  Then O and I found a crawdad.  It was dead but it didnt matter, O carried it around for awhile.  He even took it back to the chairs to show dad.  He's such a boy!

They liked to play on the rocks on the other side of the river.

What a fun day.  We shall do it again soon......................
