A Day At The Lake

We recently aquired some land out by the Lake. So we hooked up the GPS, packed a lunch and headed out to find our lot in the middle of nowhere. We couldn't get to it because of locked gates and a little uncertainty of the exact location. But we found the general area and we are so excited to build us a little campground- complete with trailor dock, picnic table and if Greg gets his way a shooting range! After our land hunt we decided it was time for a picnic at the Lake. It is only about a 5 min drive from the lot which is so great. The weather said it was going to be chilly but we found this litte cove where it was perfect. We all started out in our jeans and jackets and slowly ended up in our skivies (undies)! Karen- Thanks so much, this is going to be a very used and very fun spot, with so many fun memories.

This is an old bridge that we have to cross in order to get to the other side of the river. It is either this or another hour drive around to the other side. This was crazy and I will be freakin' out when we have to take the trailor across!!!

Fun Photos from our day.
