A Day In The Mountains and some extras

Life has been crazy lately so we decided to get out of town and head to the mountains. We woke up early and headed out. The plan was a hike, pass off some merit badges, roast weenies and marshmellow, and just hang out as a family all day.

That was the plan anyway!

The rain was NOT planned, I didn't write it on the schedule it just showed up unannounced. It was sprinkling when we got there, but it continued to get worse. We got a fire going and had hot dogs and marshmellows for lunch. But we ended up packing up about 3 hours later.

We used the tent to put or cooler and food so it wouldn't get wet.

This video will make you laugh, and if you don't then you need to seek medical attention because there is something wrong with you. This is O trying to "fit in" with the big boys. I got in a little late so the giggling is in full swing. O makes a raspberry noise (aka a fart noise) and the older boys make a big deal about it and it makes O crazk up and it goes on and on.

This is from last weekend. It is a great goal by Ay.
