Oregon 2009

Our trip to Oregon was great. It was a fun vacation and my little sisters wedding was perfect. We had great weather and great fun. I had a hard time narrowing down the pictures so here are a bunch to look at.
Owyn was packed and ready to go before anyone else was.

When we got to Portland my aunt took us on a little side trip to a little town called Evergreen and we saw the Spruce Goose. It is an amazing plane. The Evergreen Air and Space Museum was truly a site to see. It is out of the way but it is well worth the trip.

This was the 1st morning at the beach. It was really windy but the sand was just barely up off the ground, it felt like a fog machine was on, when the boys would run, it looked like they were going 100mph. It was chilly but pretty.

Mom and O on the beach in the wind. O was making me laugh because when a gust of wind would kick up he gasped like he couldn't breathe. But then he would see a seagull and forget all about the wind.
We had to take O to the best taffy shop in Cannon Beach... Bruce's. They make all of thier own taffy and when a new batch is done they give out free samples.....YUMMM.
This is O eatting his sucker before he even got out the door.
Em and Ay found sucker pacifiers. They were so funny.

O's first real day on the beach. He ran a million miles chasing birds. I love this picture of him.
O and his cousin. They had a good time getting to know each other. O taught him a few bad things like how to climb up onto high places. They were cute together.

Papa T and I (mainly Papa) made the boys another sand car. This time it was an F1 sandcar.
We had 3 totally sunny days on the Oregon coast and some grey rainy days which I love to see.
Then Papa T and Tennille decided to make Em the sandcastle.
There was a beach BBQ one night and I loved this shot of my mom and the boys at Hug Point.

Here is my favorite picture I took at my sisters wedding. The orange on the beach was SO pretty. They looked amazing.
Love O's blue eyes with his blue hat. On this day we went to the beach at 9:30 and we stayed till 5 that night. We walked to Mo's for lunch and then went right back to digging in the sand.
We constructed a sandcastle that was about 12feet wide and 32 feet long. We(most of the work done by Papa T and my little brother) spent about 5 or so hours on it. It lasted through 2 high tides, and then the tsunami of high tides took out the castle in less than 5 min.
Here is another shot of the constructionMy dad named it Tayloria
This is what was left after a few big waves.
We always have to make a trip to Seaside and ride the carousel.
