Well today was Easter and I will post photo's later but I had a funny story to tell. Last night as I was tucking Em in his bed and he said,
Em- "Mom, are you the one that puts all the Easter stuff on the table?"
Me-"Yes"
Em- "Really..... you do?"
Me- "Ya"
Em- "So are you the one that gave me my Heeleys and Guitar Heros a long time ago?"
Me-"Yep"
Em-"That's crazy, I had no idea"....... "So are you the toothfairy to?"
Me- "Yep"
Em- giggling "No way!"
After a bit more talking and questions
Em- "So does that mean you are Santa?"
Me- "Ya"
Em- laughing "No way are you serious, .....I had NO idea?"
Then with a look I will never forget, like a light went on
Em- "Does Dad know?"
Me- "Well of course silly he helps me."
Em- still giggling, "Oh cuz that was going to be so cool for me to know and not him"
It made me laugh and I still almost laugh outloud when I play it back in my head and hear him say, Does dad know. That was priceless. Man, I love that little man.

I did think about it before I said yes, but I did make it till he was 9 1/2. Not very many kids make it that long. I just decided that I couldn't not tell him.
I'm not sure Greg did know.
I don't remember ever telling him.

Wow. What a cute kid! I keep hoping Lily will figure it out. I just pull out history books on the subject every year and she still chooses to believe...so I let her.
