New Camera and Spring Break

A month ago I got a book order from the NM Museum for the NM Creates Website. Take a look at my journals on this website
So with the money I made I bought a new camera.
My old one was not taking very good photos anymore.
So here is a photo of the 30 books that I made.

First photo with the new camera. Great photo and a great looking subject!

Look at those eyes.

Love this of Em, just a quick photo and I love the orange soda mustache.

Had to get a close up of O and his CRAZY long eyelashes. What a cutie.

It was spring break this last week and we couldn't go anywhere because Greg was still in class. Then O got sick and so we decided to do a few day trips around the 4 corners. So the boys and my sister and I hopped in the car and went to the 4 Corners Monument. We had never been there and we have lived here our whole lives. It was fun, but VERY windy.

Then on Tues. we didn't go anywhere because Em got the flu and O was still sick. On Wen. Ay got the flu and Em, O (even though he was still not feeling good), my dad and I went to Chaco Canyon. O slept pretty much the whole time. I had forgotten how amazing it is out there. I want to go back and do some of the hiking trails.
Em had a great time.

On Wen. night O was still throwing up so I took him to Urgent Care. They gave him a shot and he started eatting again. I was relieved and figured it was all over. Then on Thrus. he started throwing up again, so I took him back to Urgent Care and they gave him another shot. Thurs. he was really tired and just layed around, I figured he was just worn out from the week. Then on Fri. he started throwing up again. So I took him to the Doctor and that is when they put him in the hospital. He was so dehydrated and so they put him on fluids. He lost a pound and a half from not being able to keep food down. Thankfully we spent only one night in the hospital. He had gotten Rotavirus, which is a nasty stomach flu that mainly targets kids under 5. Adult and kids can get it but it is not as bad. So I realized that is what Em and Ay had but it only got them for about 12 hours. Here are a couple pics from the hospital.
This one is the one the hospital took for his charts.

The next morning he was back to his happy smiling self.

So that was Spring Break. We are all better now and ready to finish off this school year.

Your poor baby! They say you can really recognize the Rota by the SMELL. True? Sorry. I bet you're worn out!

I've never been to Four Corners. I've seen pics and I guess for me that's always been enough. I love Chaco Canyon. Haven't been there since I was a kid, either.

My favs of your journals are Green Grass and NM Colors. I love that you are an artist. It's really cool that you have that with your mom, too.

I wanted to get a pic of my nose but it's in Baltimore with Case. (And he says he broke it, too!)
