Ay has a great teacher. Em had her in 2nd grade also and he still talks about her. So 11-11-11 was her birthday and so I decided to make her a cake. It was fairly small, maybe like a small canalope. And what better thing to give a teacher besides an Apple, well an Apple Cake of course. It turned out cute. I was really happy with it.
Em has been studing Egypt in History. They were asked to make a model of a pyramid in any material (legos, sugarcubes, paper, etc). Em chose to make his out of cake and then got permission from his teacher to cut it up and let his class eat it after his presentation. The front side he painted what the inside of his pyramid would look like. He also said that his pyramid would have a waterfall coming out of it. Then the water would come out of the pond and would water 2 gardens and then into another pond. He (we) did a great job.

absolutely love the apple cake! so cool and so creative. The worm is adorable! like the nice simple math problems :) and Emeryck's pyramid is super cool!! bet it was by far the coolest in the class
