A trip to Denver

We took one last vacation to Denver just before school started. We went for a couple of reasons, haven't seen my brother (Thomas) in almost a year, Melinda is having another baby in a couple of months and my mom was painting the nursery, visit family (on both sides), and we went to the D.A.M. (Denver Art Museum) to see the King Tut Exhibit. There was about 300 artifacts from King Tut's tomb from jewerly to sculptures, even King Tut's bed. Amazing to think that those things were made 4000 years ago.

Just cleaning up the trash outside the D.A.M. (can u see Em and Ay?)

Outside the D.A.M were these huge rocks, love this picture becasue the boys are trying to move them or pick them up.

Em took a break and went riding on a cow.

After King Tut we decided to go to the Butterfly Pavillion. I have always wanted to go and this time we did it. Not only are there butterflies there are all kinds of cool bugs. There were the biggest walking sticks you have ever seen to the nasty hissing cockroaches.
I call this photo "the bride". I think that it looks like a beautiful white dress with black outline.

The boys had a great time. It was hard to get them to stop for 2 seconds to get a picture.
Ahhhhh, look at the cute little butterflies. The boys had a blast in the kids play room.
My 3 busy bee's
Em pretending to be a spider.
This is one of 2 of my favorite shots that I got of the butterflies.

This one I call my calendar photo, don't you think it could be on a calander?
Oh and I had to hold Rosie. My boys think I'm AWESOME!!!!
Melinda's folks got us tickets to a Rockies game. It was my first major legue game (at least that I remember) and the boys 1 st baseball game EVER! We had a great time and they WON which made it even cooler.
Nothin like blue cotton candy and a cute smile.
Here's the gang: Melinda, Tyson, Thomas, Papa T and Ay. What a crazy group we are.
We also went to the zoo. Emily, Joe and the girls (boys cousins, aunt and uncle) and Melinda and Colin and my mom. We spent about 5 1/2 hours there. Had such a great time.
There was a sign about Hyena poo and a fake pile outside the den. Em decided to pose by the poo! Gotta love him!
Colin and O had a great time by the bongo drums.
We rode a little train.
Hey look Em, Ay and O!

Here's all the kids by the polar bears
Em was trying to kiss the boa
We ate ice cream a couple of times at this great place. "Little Man Ice Cream", it was really yummy.
" Hey O, look at mom and say cheese and show me your ice cream.... "This is what I got.
He's not cute or anything.
This is a short video of the boys playing at the Little Man's Ice Cream. There was not only ice cream but there was a slide and hoola hoops. O got pretty good at the hoop before the night was over.

It was a great trip. We did a ton of stuff in those 4 days. Thank you to Emily for letting us beat up on the girls and make the house REALLY noisy for a few day. Loved getting to see everyone.
