HAPPY BIRTHDAY AY!

THE BIG 6

Ay turned 6 today and I can't believe that he has grown up so fast. He has had the flu for 2 days and we almost thought that the party would have to be put on hold, but he pulled through. We had a great party, Ay's favorite lunch- PB&J's, chips and dip, veggies and fruit.

These are the little treats I took to Ay's class on Friday. They are rice crispie treat clown cones. The have dried blueberry eyes and nose and dried cranberry mouths.

At first he wanted a cake that was the pyramid in Egypt, but after awhile it changed. He decided he wanted Boba Fett Helmet cake. Greg helped me with this one. He did al the carving and then did details while I was getting kids in bed.

We got him a Boba Fett Costume and he immediately put it on and only came off when he played outside for a while. (just in case you don't know Boba Fett is a bounty hunter hired by Jaba the Hutt to catch Hans Solo in the Star Wars movies.)

money, money, money... the gifts and of course $$ were great. He loved them all.

Ay is shy like me, he did not want the kids at church to sing to him. I had to get his permission to sing to him on his birthday. He doesnt like the attention to be on him at times. Kinda funny, kind cute, but can be kinda annoying.

Time to dig in, that is my favorite part.
