A Quick Trip To Denver

This last weekend the boys and I and my mom went to see my brothers and see little C turn 1. We went up friday night and came home on sunday afternoon so it was a very quick trip. But we hardly get to see C so we decided that he was worth it. The boys are great in the car, (with one major meltdown from O). It was fun to just get to hang out and spend some time up there. So on sat. afternoon we went to the aquarium for C's birthday and then we went back to my brothers for cupcakes. They were from a place called "Happy Cakes". They had an assortment of gourmet cupcakes from red velvet to one kind that had bacon in it. They even had cups of icing (which is what Ay had). I had the almond and toasted coconut, which was really good. We had a great time and it was fun for the boys to get to see their cousin.

This is the two little guys trying to figure out who the other is. They poked and pulled on each other. It was fun to see them together.

Ay did not like the noises in the aquarium. They put all this weird background music in the displays . He kept saying, "mom I don't like all these scary noises!" He has some of the most sensitive ears of anyone I know. So all the photos I have of him he just does not look happy. But he said he had a good time.

Em took some time to explain to C everything that he was seeing. I think that C had a great time. C loves fish so it was the perfect place for him.

He ate every last bit of it. It was good he did because he was looking a little thin.
