This week was fun. My sister-in-law was SO nice and let me make a birthday cake for my neice. I asked her awhile back if I could make a "girl" cake because I was tired of making cars, legos, dinosaurs and such. I wanted to be able to use my PINK and PURPLE food coloring. So , I decided to make her a barbie cake. The first photo is my little friend getting ready for her big day. She had her hair done earlier so we put it in a shower cap and then she showered and got all clean for the party.
She was a the most beautiful girl at the party, well next to the birthday girl that is. Happy Birthday Jaylee, I love you.

My mom used to make shaped cakes for us when I was little, like cookie monster and cars, etc. I feel brave if I'm decorating sugar cookies! You are very talented!
